Soon enough, we'll be in Germany, yes. We are in the final stages of preparing the film for international over-dubbing. So you will see Abu Raed and our Jordanian cast, but you will hear them speak in other languages performed by voice-over actors from other countries. I'm not in love with doing that to the film because you lose the authenticity of the performance, but it's what they're used to doing in Europe.

Hi Amin,
I hate to bother you with this question, as I am sure you get asked about it a lot: Do you have any plans for a DVD release of Captain Abu Raed? If so, do you have a projected date?
I would love to get a hold of a copy. I know that Kinzi (of Kinziblogs) has also expressed interest in obtaining a copy.

Thanks.

Thanks for asking Ziad. We will be announcing the theatrical release of the film in the UAE in the next few days. We've been careful with the DVD so it doesn't go to bootleggers before theatrical, so that's why it's not on DVD yet. But soon it will be.

We are also happy to let you know that Captain Abu Raed will play in a cinema in Jordan again this summer as there were many people who didn't get the chance to see it because they're studying abroad.

An announcement about that will also be made soon.
