Captain Abu Raed wins Best Feature in New Orleans
I'm sure you're sick of hearing about it, but I'm loving this. This is our 10th Award for Captain Abu Raed, and it's a very satisfying feeling to hear that audiences everywhere root for "Captain Abu". Keep your fingers crossed for the upcoming big race.

secondly, I didn't get the change to see in it theaters since I live in Aqaba and all so I'm wondering, is there any way I could get the movie on a DVD? perhaps you could provide me with a copy? I will pay for it naturally.

It will be coming out on DVD in Jordan and the middle east sometime towards the end of Ramadan and should be available in DVD stores with a full behind the scenes special. Keep an eye out on the blog for more details soon.

Yes indeed. I believe we open in Germany in November. We'll also open in Spain, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and more to be announced.

when these kind of indie films win awards, they usually put them up on the posters and dvd cover, in between those little golden wreaths.
point being: pretty soon you're not going to have any more room on the cover!
also, you should consider doing something creative for the jordanian market when it comes to the dvd because everything here is pirated. have a launch party at hammoudeh in the balad :-D
